Woman Founded Magazine is a business-focused publication highlighting women entrepreneurs, founders, and business leaders from around the world. We publish thoughtful, well-crafted stories centered on entrepreneurship, leadership, business growth, and founder experiences.

Before submitting, we strongly encourage writers to spend time reading our existing content to understand our editorial approach, tone, and areas of focus.

Company-building experiences
Practical resources and thoughtful commentary related to entrepreneurship

We are especially drawn to stories that are insightful, original, globally minded, and grounded in real business experience.

Editorial Boundaries

To maintain a consistent editorial focus, we do not publish content centered on:

Politics or political advocacy
Religion or faith-based commentary
Personal lifestyle or identity topics
Holiday-related themes or seasonal commentary
Culture-war or intentionally controversial subject matter

Our publication is strictly focused on business, entrepreneurship, leadership, and company growth.

Before You Submit

Please familiarize yourself with our publication before pitching. Reviewing previously published content is the best way to understand what we consider a strong fit.

We do not accept finished unsolicited pieces. Please pitch first.

If your pitch is accepted, we will agree on a deadline together. Typical timelines are 4–6 weeks from acceptance, though we remain flexible depending on the project.

We aim to respond to pitches within two weeks.

Feature Articles

2,500–4,000 words

Web Exclusives

800–1,000 words

Please note that word counts should be followed closely unless otherwise agreed upon with the editor.

Submission Requirements

All pitches must include:

Full name
Mailing address
Contact phone number
Email address
A brief author bio
Relevant writing samples or portfolio links (if available)

Please clearly explain:

Your proposed topic
Why it matters to our audience
Your angle or perspective
Why you are the right person to write it

Rights & Republishing

Woman Founded Magazine acquires exclusive first publication rights for 60 days following publication.

During this exclusivity period, the work may not be republished elsewhere, including personal websites, newsletters, blogs, or third-party publications.

After 60 days, rights revert to the author. Republishing is permitted provided the following courtesy credit is included:

“Originally published in Woman Founded Magazine.”

Woman Founded Magazine retains the right to archive published material indefinitely on our platforms.

Payment

At this time, submissions are unpaid.

Editorial Process

Accepted pieces may be edited for clarity, structure, tone, length, and style.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, postpone, or withdraw consideration of any submission at any stage of the editorial process.

Submission does not guarantee publication.

Additional Notes

We generally prefer original, unpublished work.
Simultaneous submissions must be disclosed.
AI-generated submissions are not accepted.
Excessively promotional or advertorial-style submissions will not be considered.
